Bad Traffic @ Iguana’s 18 June 2009/SOJOURN

Thursday night at Iguana’s, a taqueria in downtown San Jose complete with a house band with open mic, featured guest band Bad Traffic along with MC Mid One and DJ Rob One. The usual house band couldn’t make it, so after a couple phone calls, Bad Traffic, which consists of current students and alumni of Valley Christian High School, got the nod to fill in for the night. The air was filled with apprehension, as many of us were unsure what would ensue. Here are a couple videos from that night…

Midway through his freestyle, Mid One asked the audience for topics. I gave him “unemployment” as a topic (being laid off twice in the last six months, I am all too familiar with the topic), and he graciously offered this next freestyle:
